Professional CPR Training
The BLS Certification Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Professional level CPR training is perfect for any type of medical care provider and includes infant, child, and adult CPR as well as use of a BVM and airway obstruction.
In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with our Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing.
Course Instructional Materials:
OSHA compliant barrier masks
Instructors: SETA CPR instructor, with student to instructor ratio not to exceed 8:1
Course Handouts: ASHI CPR manual and other pertinent instructor created handouts
Participation Evaluation: Written evaluations from students regarding the effectiveness of the trainer, the training and the visual aids.
Written Exam: Yes with 80% grade to pass course
Practical Exam: Yes with minimum competencies to be satisfactorily completed to pass course
Retraining/Recertification: Required every two years
